Old Port Fest Was A Success!

WPOR Staff with Brooke Eden & Drew Baldridge

I had the honor of taking photos for my station, WPOR, at this year’s Old Port Festival in Portland, Maine. The weather held out and despite it being extremely windy, it was a warm afternoon! Opening our show were local favorites, American Ride. They’re a country cover band and every song was something that you could sing along to!

Next up was Nashville newcomer, Matt Gary. He tested out some songs on us that he will be putting on his EP; we were some of the first people to hear this new music! Check out his official lyric video for “It’s On You”.

Soon-to-be-superstar Drew Baldridge was our headliner for the show, and he put on one hell of a performance! His debut album Dirt On Us was just released a couple days before and his first single, “Dance With Ya” is currently sitting at number 45 on the media base country charts. Baldridge is an enthusiastic and energetic performer and has some dance moves that rival those of Luke Bryan.

Dylan Scott… not gonna lie, but I had a hard time focusing on anything other than his muscles. Haha, in all seriousness, I was pretty excited to see him for the first time and finally hear “Making This Boy Go Crazy” live. Check him out at Dylan Scott Country because he is not someone you want to miss when he rolls through your town. Although being a bit more low-key at our festival, this man has performing in his blood.

Last but not least, Brooke Eden graced us with her presence as our closing act of the afternoon. Brooke’s current single, “Daddy’s Money” has opened up the doors for her success in the radio world and commands respect. It speaks of working hard to get what you want… not all of us are blessed enough to have come from ‘Daddy’s Money’… including Brooke herself. Her song “American Dreaming” really touches me personally and I loved hearing it live!

Well I’ve always been the girl with stars in my eyes… Me too Brooke, me too. You go girl. Keep on rocking and “American Dreaming”.

You can see all of the photos that I took here! (Have I mentioned how much that I love my job lately?! Dreams really do come true!)
